Doctorate of Philosophy in Theology

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theology program at Northeastern College of Theology (NCT) is designed to equip scholars and practitioners with advanced knowledge and skills in biblical studies and theology. This rigorous program combines academic excellence with practical application, preparing graduates for leadership roles in academia, ministry, and research.

$5500 plus a $60 application fee (Book fees/Graduation fees listed separately)

Monthly Payment Plan Option
$60 upfront and 8 payments of $784.61/month, second payment is on the first day of class.

Application, Book, Technology Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE ($420) and must be PAID IN FULL before the first day of class.

Upon acceptance, you will receive an invoice to pay your remaining enrollment fee balance of $360 (Books, Admin, and Technology Fees).

Doctor of Biblical Studies-Theology Degree, Christian Biblical Counseling, AND Life-Earned experience of 20 years in full-time ministry.

VERY IMPORTANT. a 55,000-word thesis/dissertation is required for this degree, typed and mailed to NCT, 159 Church Street, NE, Concord, NC 28025, no later than April 26th. This is mandatory. Without this thesis/dissertation, you will not receive your degree. This will be placed in your file at NCT.

A non-refundable annual enrollment fee of $60 is required upon submitting this application. We accept payments via all major credit cards, cash, check, cashier’s check, money order, Cash App, or PayPal, with applicable processing fees. Please make checks or money orders payable to Northeastern College of Theology and send them to our office. Upon successful enrollment, a Degree Program or course syllabus, along with selected course materials, will be emailed to you.

NOTE: The cost of books is NOT included in the tuition or enrollment fee.

This document becomes legally binding only when accepted, signed, and dated by an authorized official of the school or the registrar at the school’s main office.

3. You are entitled to a copy of this agreement and any disclosure pages you sign.

4. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the student and the school.

5. Honorary Degrees are not accepted towards academic requirements.

6. By submitting this application, you affirm that all information provided is true and accurate and agree to the terms of tuition payment, graduation fees, materials, and textbooks. The annual enrollment fee of $60.00 is due upon registration and is non-refundable.

7. The school reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrollment for unsatisfactory progress, nonpayment of tuition, or failure to adhere to established standards of conduct.

8. The transferability of credits to another institution is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the receiving institution.

9. The cost of graduation regalia varies by program, and graduation fees are due by March 1 of the student’s graduation year.

10. Northeastern College of Theology is a private institution open to the public following the screening of each applicant. Information other than promotional content should not be made public without authorization from the President or their staff.

11. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a Christ-like manner at all times.

12. The Northeastern College of Theology maintains a social media presence. Students are encouraged to promote the school positively, bringing glory to God, encouraging others to attend NCT, and gaining support for their academic journey. Always maintain decency and order.

13. Non-compliance with these terms can result in reevaluation of eligibility. Credits for courses are granted upon completion of the course, full payment of tuition, receipt of a passing grade, and completion of attendance, participation, homework, and finals.

14. Please note that NCT is accredited by the Accrediting Commission International for Biblical Higher Education, focusing on religious teaching and ministerial training. Transfer credits are at the discretion of the receiving institution.

15. Students must complete an end-of-year and/or end-of-course evaluation.

Exemption Statement: The Policies of the Board of Governors requires all institutions conferred exemption with respect to religious education to prominently display the exemption statement in all relevant institutional publications. The statement should read: Degree programs of study offered by Northeastern College of Theology have been declared exempt from the requirements for licensure, under provisions of North Carolina General Statutes Section (G.S.) 116-15 (d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education. Exemption from licensure is not based upon assessment of program quality under established licensing standards.
